Pics of my New Home...

Ok, so this is probably a long time coming, but here are some pics of the inside of my home. :)

This is my Kitchen. It is long and narrow, but it actually has MORE storage than my awesome kitchen did in my old apartment.  Also I wasn't too keen on the color scheme when I first moved in, but it has actually grown on me and I think that I actually really like it now.

The picture above is what it looks like when you walk through the front door. On the left is the entry to the living/dining. To the right is a stairway that goes up to the bathroom and bedrooms, and the door on the right leads downstairs to the basement. There is also a pantry on the left. Probably the biggest reason I have so much more storage in this kitchen.

I LOVE all the built ins. All of Daisy's toys are in them, and I LOVE that all of her toys are downstairs. And she has the whole area to play.

I didn't take pics of the bedrooms....they aren't really that clean, and I didn't have time to clean them. But I will post more another day. :)

Weekend of Fairs...

This last week was the county and state fair.

Friday, Daisy's class had a field trip to the county fair. It was mostly just animals, but it was still fun...

Saturday, I took Daisy and her BFF to the State Fair in Asheville, about an hour and a half away. That was really cool. They had tons of shows to watch, including magic shows, acrobat shows, hypnotists, circus, petting zoo, activities for the kids, plus lot's of animals and rides! So much fun!...

Girl Scouts....

Daisy is going to be a "Daisy". lol Last night, we went to a recruitment meeting for girl scouts, and ended up joining.....AND....I ended up volunteering to be the troop leader. So, this should be fun. :) I don't know if I really know what I am getting into, but for the couple years that I was in girl scouts, I loved it, and Daisy is super excited too.  Plus, 2012 is their 100th year anniversary, so lot's of exciting things will be happening!

Update on house buying....

I just want to say, buying a house is SOOOO FREAKING STRESSFUL!!! lol  I went on the house inspection this week for the house I wanted to buy. Let's just say...I learned a lot about houses during that inspection, and this house has A LOT of problems. (sigh) So today, I terminated my contract with the seller and I am once again on the hunt for a home. Kind of bittersweet, because I was in love with this one, but if it just isn't meant to be, then it just isn't meant to be, right?

Fundraiser...

So, instead of going door to door, fundraising has gone to the internet. Crazy, huh? Anyway, Daisy's school is having a fundraiser, and you can go online to help her out. And the house I chose....

House number 3! I love it! Knew it was THE ONE, as soon as I pulled up and saw the yard. The inside is pretty great too, with TONS of room. :)
